Midsummer Capital, LLC ("Midsummer") is a New York based investment manager founded in 2002 to target opportunities in North American listed small cap companies with market capitalizations under $1 billion.

Midsummer invests across the capital structure using fundamental bottom-up research with a one to two year investment time horizon. We seek outperformance by combining the structuring protection and upside leverage of direct investments with a complementary long/short equity strategy.

Across the portfolio, we aim to match the risk profile of the individual security with the return potential of the investment such that the greater the risk, the greater the downside protection and upside potential. The firm culture stresses disciplined risk management and thorough research and due diligence as the foundations of our investment approach.
